Concept of "X-FEED Solutions"
As advances continue in such areas as broadband and ubiquitous connectivity, the Internet is becoming increasingly indispensable in people's lives and the economic activities of businesses. It has already become a social infrastructure in both name and reality, and it is not an exaggeration to say it is a social medium. The greatest feature of services that utilize the Internet is bi-directional and interactive communication. More than ever before, users can take advantage of rich user experiences, and interactive communication, which allows users themselves to actively and spontaneously participate,is likely to make a wide variety of services provided over the Internet more fruitful, enjoyable, and easy to use.
Based on its founding mission to "promote the dramatic and healthy growth of the Internet," as a pioneer of Internet data centers in Japan,INTERNET MULTIFEED has since 1997 been providing "MultiFEED" Internet data center services of the highest standard, allowing high-speed backbones of major ISPs and content servers of ICPs to connect directly and at high speed to the Internet. From 2001,as a further foundation to support the development of the Internet,INTERNET MULTIFEED has been providing the JPNAP Tokyo I service,an Internet eXchange (IX) service that supports the growing needs of broadband, with the JPNAP Osaka service added in 2002. As of January 2008, INTERNET MULTIFEED began providing a new JPNAP Tokyo II service, which is an independent distributed/redundant point from JPNAP Tokyo I service. Moreover in 2006, INTERNET MULTIFEED has been starting to provide the TimeFEED service, which distributes and monitors high-precision, high-quality time information through networks, a service essential for the safety and reliability of today's IT society.
We, INTERNET MULTIFEED, will continue to develop and provide "X-FEED Solution," pioneering and innovative solution that feed - and nurture the feeding - a variety of knowledge and value created in the bi-directional and interactive communication on the Internet through the Internet and other information communication networks. Then we will contribute to the realization of an affluent IT society.
